Installation Instructions

Using ReaPack (recommended): Browse and install the package ReaLoop Arranged Live Looper (and optionally Replace with an Empty Item) by ilovemedia .
If you prefer to install them manually:
- Download the file ilovemedia_ReaLoop Arranged Live Looper.lua (and optionally ilovemedia_Replace with an empty item.lua)
- Load the Lua file through the Actions -> Show Actions List -> New action -> Load ReaScript
- Add it to the toolbar or assign a keyboard shortcut to this action

Template Preparation

Create track templates (MIDI or Audio).
Regardless of whether the track is audio or MIDI, create empty MIDI placeholder items (Insert → New MIDI Item) for both recording and playback/loop areas.
Format the Take Name (Item Properties -> Take Name) of these placeholder items

Add live to the end to designate the item as a LIVE recording slot.
For PLAYBACK/LOOP slot, replace live with loopand keep the rest of the name identical.

Place project markers directly on the timeline where you want ReaLoop to select andarm the next instrument track. Name the marker identically to the track name.
